WHAT LEVEL OF SERVICE CAN YOU EXPECT FROM HIGHLAND VISUAL INSPECTION SERVICES?

The first and foremost service we aim to provide our customers is and always will be to provide the highest possible level of service that we can! 

 

We would like to think that any builder/contractor undertaking work to a new-build, extension or internal alterations would aim to complete the work as snag free as possible. For the most part they do try to however for the instances where there are corners cut or quality issues Highland Visual Inspection Services are here to help.

Whether you would like our service from project conception or you have had work completed, you're not 100% satisfied with the quality and would like a profession opinion and report, then Highland Visual Inspection Services are your first stop for the Highland & Island region and beyond! 

We understand that clients undertaking works to their own homes and/or properties want the highest possible snag and defect free finish. This is exactly quality we ourselves would expect within our own home and is exactly what we aim to help provide as best we can. We do however aim to provide much more, including but not limited to the following:

- High level of professional, time served experience from each inspector.

- Polite and helpful service.

- Adherence to our clients requests, example: a shoes off at the door policy.

- Full PPE for construction site visits

- Full PPE for home visits; COVID Protection etc.

STARTING FROM
PACKAGE 1: FLAT / HOUSE INSPECTION

DETAILED REPORT & PHOTOGRAPHIC EVIDENCE

Our first package is specifically aimed at owners, prospective owners, landlords and prospective tenants of flats and houses.

 

We are in a position to aid all manners of clients be it home-owners, prospective home-owners, rental tenants or landlords. We will act accordingly and impartially in matters of rental properties, while provided our time served knowledge of construction and defects to aid in correspondence and agreements between the rental tenant(s) and landlord(s) in matter of damage reporting / rectification. 

 

In all instances we will produce a detailed report of the property, pinpointing any potential damages or defects which we feel need care and attention to rectify. Many defects can go unnoticed for those viewing a property for the first time, which is where our services would come in, assisting in second viewings, pre-purchase walk throughs, pre-rental agreements or post purchase inspection. 

All our reports include detailed analysis and photographic evidence outlining any incomplete or unsatisfactory elements of the property, as required.

STARTING FROM
PACKAGE 2: NEW-BUILD HOMEOWNER / EXTENTION

DETAILED STAGED INSPECTION, REPORTS & PHOTOGRAPHIC EVIDENCE

Our second package is specifically aimed at New-Build clients looking for assistance through the whole construction process.  

Within this package we will produce regular staged report, detailing items such as foundations, sub frame, blockwork, first fitout, all the way through to final finishes and detailing. Our experience and reports are at the disposal of clients who are employing the services of building but who would like reassurance that the construction process is being completed to the highest possible standard, as well as clients who require to produce reports and evidence for their construction for building society staged payments etc. 

As with all our packages, the report will include photographic evidence outlining any incomplete or unsatisfactory elements of the property. Stages for report delivery can be agreed prior to inspections taking place, either with the client present or directly with the building agent.

PACKAGE 3: COMMERCIAL INSPECTIONS -
SEASONAL HOLIDAY HOMES ETC.

As with our New-Build Homeowner package we are targeting a specific area  we believe is going relatively unaided in the current market. Within this package we are looking to aid Holiday Home Owners who may live some distance away from their properties but who do not deal with middle-man rental agents who would otherwise inspect these types of properties for defects or damages.

On agreement of terms we can offer Holiday Home owners / Seasonal let clients with a regular visit and report service, potentially on a monthly, quarterly, half yearly or annual basis. We will produce detailed reports for each property, including photographic evidence.
